MELANIE joined the Jones & Associates team in 2021. She spent over 11 years in public accounting on a variety of tax and assurance clients, in many different industries before focusing on not-for-profit organizations. She then made the switch to the private sector for about 6 years as the Director of Accounting and Finance at a homebuilding and land development company. While she learned a lot and appreciated being on the other side, she missed her clients and the excitement of public accounting. Now, she is happy to be back in public accounting with a focus on serving not-for-profit clients again.
Melanie has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and loves that she can live in a place near the water, mountains and city. Melanie enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, sports and spending time with her husband and two boys. She is also an active member at her local Elks lodge which invests in the local community.
